What makes your soul sing?

Some days I have to pinch myself. Really? This is work? Not!! Today I spent the most fun day with the uber-talented @peteheath.1 on my paddock and in my studio, making a video about why painting makes my soul sing.

It’s the first time I’ve been videoed by another in the act of creating. The most magical time. Experiencing Pete’s reaction when I added a pop of orgasmic orange was priceless! “Stop! Stop! Leave it!” People often ask me,” How do you know when a painting is finished?” It’s not cognitive. It’s pure feeling.

When Pete asked me how I felt being watched, I honestly answered, “When I’m painting I’m in a different realm. I enter the energy of the painting. I am in another place.” That’s passion, folks. It’s when you loose all your earthly worries and concerns. For a divine moment in time Facebook, Instagram, the world news—Trump—ceases to exist. Brilliant!

Painting is what makes me happy. Sometimes others are the first to notice. Like Ces, who said to my partner, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen Cass so happy.”

I thought, “really?” and then it occurred to me. “That’s exactly how I feel. Happy!”

As I shared on last week’s blog, HOW TO RAISE YOUR VIBRATION AND LIFE FORCE ENERGY, “we live in a very physical world that focuses on physical achievements, the attainment of goals and career success we can sometimes lose connection to the energy or essence that we really are.”

So many people have told me, “You have the soul of an artist,” but I haven’t been creating art. Thanks to the encouragement of my Knight Templar, Lorenzo, I am back in the energy of what makes my soul sing.
