Layered in sultry glazes and gestural sweeps of colour, the palette from my Bloomin’ Mad Collection embodies vibrant pinks, optimistic oranges, and sunny yellows…perfect as we head into a change of season.

I love flowers and am known for my flowery dresses. This name for the work above, “You Look Like an Exotic Flower” was inspired by my time working at Rimutaka Prison (!) when, as I walked across the yard, a prison guard yelled out to me, “You look like an exotic flower.”

Flowers brighten and uplift – even the most inhumane environments. This is a definite high-vibe, feel-happy piece
