I love to create bespoke, customised work and create with a range of mediums, including oil paints, acrylic, encaustic, watercolour, gilt and more. I adore the mesmerising colours that come from natural pigments enabling an alchemical relationship between nature and the painting. There is a joy and immediacy to my work too and a direct and absorbing relationship with each piece that is really exciting.
Hundreds of hours of work go into the process of building up the many layers of many of my work. Sometimes a painting can take many years to make and during that process they develop a personality of their own. Minimum lead time on a commission is 3 months but for a large heavily layered piece it is advisable to think in terms of at least one year. I’m trying to capture transcendent beauty and capture this as as an antidote to our chaotic times.
My soul purpose is to create something that uplifts spirits and provides harmony, peace and tranquility. My style is constantly evolving as I keep discovering new paints and techniques and explore the boundless possibilities of colour. I am committed to taking creative risks and pushing things to the edge of possibility—and beyond. I absolutely love working to a huge scale.
If you are interested in a commission on this scale or in buying your own large original painting I will be very happy to advise you on any questions you may have such as;
- How much will a large painting cost?
- How long will a large painting on canvas take to create?
- How will you ship it to me?
- How will I hang a large painting?
Please email email@example.com or call +64 (0) 21 873 833 to discuss your unique requirements for a large wall art commission. A 50 percent deposit is taken at the start of the work and I work on the piece until completion.

Choosing Artwork For Your Home
Art plays a major role in the look and feel of your home. It’s so important to purchase something you love. Love to be an art collector but don’t know how to fill the blank walls in your home? In the video below I share Jenny and celebrity chef Jo Seagar’s inspiring story of falling in love with the perfect piece when they visited my studio and gallery, Art@Rangitane, in the Bay of Islands, Kerikeri. You’ll see how perfect my painting, “From Here to Serenity” is in her beautiful home overlooking the river, and how much fun we had hanging the painting in her home.
