Creating life

It's hard to believe but my little baby is now all grown up. Today she turns 18!
There she is with my ol teddy bear - fast approaching 50! No, not really! I have a few years to go. But one thing is certain creating life is one of the most important life roles anyone can ever invest in and commit to.
Unlike my video recorder Hannah didn't come with a manual. As a single parent I had to figure it all out by myself.
Many people say I should write a book about single parenting, going to University when she was 2 and completing my degree when she was 5; starting a business; retraining again, putting her through private schooling and nurturing and encouraging her passions - and somehow maintaining worklife balance and maintaining my sanity.
The truth is where would I start - now she is 18 and life for both of us is really just begining a new, or when she was born and life began in ernest!
I'll reflect on that and get back to you!
In the meantime - HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH BABY GIRL:)

As a little girl I always felt guilty for thinking I loved my dad more. because i was always in pursuit of my absent father. But Cassandra Gaisford was my rock, the one who kept me alive when i didnt want to live anymore, she is not only a life coach and a successful business woman, this year I give her the award for Best Mother In The World. All mums make mistakes but my mother made to many achievements as a mother to discredit her. she passed with A plus. Single mothers of the world. look out for cassandra and Hannah here we come :) xoxoxoxox her doting daughter Hannah Joy GAISFORD garraway
As a young girl I always felt guilty for my favouritism of my father but I fear I was trying to replace something that was absent in my life. A mum and a dad to read me stories on the couch, a mum and dad to ask me how my day was and a mum and dad to go on family holidays with. what I didnt realise at the time was that I already had all this. I will never forget the day my mum and dad appeared in the same room in front of me. I sung pie jesu at the school easter service and despite the fact they weren't talking I cried because it fulfilled all my dreams. The image of a mum and dad coming to watch my show together. My parents gave up their 25 year old aspirations to make my life easier and for that I am eternally grateful but what i would like to say is that if there is any single mother worthy of attention and affection it is Ms Cassandra Gaisford because she showed me that with resilience, kindess and determination you can achieve anything and through struggling with depression myself I am proud to say I am 18 today and dont want to miss another second. Mum your the winner today not me. For raising such a strong 18 year old who's mission is to make her parents proud and to help them realise how truly grateful she is xoxoxoxoxox baby hannah joy gaisford garraway. :)
